M. Salim

As a Founding Partner and CEO of First Principal Financial, Salim oversees the operations and strategic direction of the company. He is also the President Director of PT First Principal Financial (Indonesia) and currently serves as the immediate Past-President at the Association of Financial Advisers (Singapore).
Salim has been providing Personal Financial Planning advice to a vast number of clients for over 20 years. He has been conferred numerous awards as a top practitioner. Sensing the limitations of a single line financial service provider, he decided to become independent in 1997 so as to provide his clients with a wide range of financial services and products. With this rich experience, he is responsible for the development of financial and business models, creating complex financial planning modules at First Principal.
Apart from his management functions, Salim also manages a group of IFA representatives and continues to groom individuals who are interested in making headway in the financial services industry. Salim is a sought-after speaker and regularly presents at seminars involving personal financial planning, for corporations, government and private organisations.
Salim is the current convener of Work Group 2 ISA 9000: Financial planning competence and experience requirements in Singapore. Salim graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Business Administration, and is a Chartered Financial Consultant. He also holds diplomas in life insurance and agency management.
Low Ee Meng Isaac

Head, Investment Advisory
Isaac heads the Investment Advisory Service in the firm, where investment planning for individuals are executed utilising an in-house proprietary model that provides a seamless process from data-gathering, risk profiling, asset allocation to implementation, periodic monitoring and re-balancing.
Isaac has won many awards as a practitioner and is a much sought after speaker at various industry and public meetings. He was also a lecturer with the Singapore College for ChFC Executive Programmes for top executives in Indonesia and Vietnam. In addition, together with his firm, they have contributed in both teaching material and training for various financial planning courses.
A firm believer in education, Isaac holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant from The American College. He is a Charter Holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute and a member of CFA Singapore.
Mervyn Goh

Head, Private Clients
A Founding Partner and Head of Private Clients Services, Mervyn has more than 20 years of industry experience in the financial services industry and has built a sizable clientele serving both individuals as well as corporations. In the process,he has garnered various awards as a practitioner as well as in management know-how. Known for his in-depth knowledge of the business and advanced markets, he is a much sought-after speaker and has addressed various companies, industry meetings, government as well as private organisations.
Mervyn oversees and provides advice on Business Continuity issues faced by the clients at First Principal. His core competence in the Advanced and Business Continuity markets have led him to lecture and develop part of the curriculum for educational institutions. Recognising the growing interest in the High Net Worth market, First Principal saw the need to form a separate department to cater to the specific needs of these clients and started a Private Clients Department. As Head of the Private Clients Services Department in the company, he is chiefly responsible for the development of these core areas of business at First Principal.
